COVID-19 Updates

Indiana Maple Syrup Weekend is a festive time when individual sugar camps celebrate the heritage and future of our favorite sweet treat — maple syrup, of course!

2022 is a strange year when have to face the challenges of COVID-19. Here are a few details as you plan your visits.

Many of the sugar camps that participate are members of the Indiana Maple Syrup Association (IMSA/we/us) and Maple Syrup Weekend is sponsored by IMSA.

While IMSA provides guidance on safety best practices to participating sugar camps, we are in no way involved in the operating of each event.

Each Maple Weekend event is individually operated. Please be sure to check the page for each sugar camp before you visit to see if they have posted any important information regarding COVID-19 changes.

Additionally, please subscribe to the email list below so that you can receive updates as needed.

While attending Maple Weekend events, please follow best practices provided by national and state authorities:

  • Remain at least 6 feet away from people who are not in your party
  • Wear a mask anytime you are inside or unable to socially distance
  • Regularly wash or sanitize your hands
  • Staying home if you have experienced any COVID symptoms within 24 hours

If you are not feeling well or chose not to attend a Maple Weekend Event, please visit the directory at any time and contact the sugar camps year-round to purchase syrup. Many can help you with “drive up” pickup of your favorite maple products.

Thank you for encouraging the wonderful tradition of maple syrup in Indiana by supporting sugar camps around the state!
