Zimmerman’s Sugar Bush is a 40-acre woodlot in southern Marshall County. The woods are outfitted with a vacuum system to collect the sap from 1300 total taps.

A few neighbors also bring over their sap to boil at our camp. We have a reverse osmosis system to cut down on the boiling time.

On Maple Weekend we will be giving tours, and offering maple syrup for sale. We will be serving free refreshments: sausage and pancakes with Pure Maple Syrup as well as Hot Chocolate. We will be boiling sap that weekend to demonstrate the evaporator.
